Angloball

The West Devon English Language School offers a very special summer course for teenagers during the summer. The course is designed for students who wish to improve their general English skills as well as their football ability. The course runs from Monday to Friday and consists of 15 hours of General English teaching and 15 hours of professional football coaching.

We welcome students from all backgrounds and at any level of English or footballing ability.

General English course

Our skilled and enthusiastic staff, offer students the chance to develop their English skills in a learner friendly environment.

The programme concentrates on the four main skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening. Importance is placed on improving students’ confidence and fluency in the language. We are renowned for using the latest techniques and resources to develop students’ vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

Football coaching

The football course is run by two FA qualified coaches. It is designed to improve students’ football skills as well as to be a lot of fun. Every day, students will have the chance to work with the coaches to learn new tricks and skills as well as develop their all round ability. As part of the course students will take part in competitions with fantastic prizes. At the end of the course students will receive a special certificate, with a trophy awarded to the most improved player.

Coaching takes place at the ground of Tavistock F.C.

Here students with have the use of the ground including full changing room facilities, full size pitch and goals, as well as a range of football equipment.
